Partnering to pour millions of glasses of milk for families in need

$1 = 8 servings of milk

There is a strong connection between nutrition and learning. That's why Partners for Public Education and the Pennsylvania State Education (PSEA) are proud to support Fill a Glass with Hope.

Partners and PSEA contributed $13,000 to the project, which will be used to purchase 83,000 servings of milk for families who may not otherwise be able to access this important building block of child physical and educational development.

Overall, Fill a Glass with Hope plans to distribute 2 million servings of fresh milk through a network of eight food banks. The project is led by Feeding Pennsylvania in partnership with the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association, Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program, and PA Dairymen's Association.

With more than half a million children at risk of hunger in Pennsylvania alone, this is one important way that Partners for Public Education and PSEA are helping students in their communities stay healthy and perform better in the classroom and in life.
